So, it's the holidays. We're all busy and looking to get places. But that also means the "family movie" is out there, lurking like your creepy Uncle Buck. Unfortunately, you can't lurk any further than Everybody's Fine.
The De Niro flick is getting some lukewarm love, yet there's nothing fine about it. In fact, as Brett, Ellen and our webcammers will tell you, it's kind of meh. Not fine.

Another weekend means Brett and Ellen have got a peekend at the new films and DVDs. Especially the ones we're looking for on the next Rotten Tomatoes Show.
-Brothers is Jim Sheridan's remake of a drama, in which Tobey Maguire's sole role is to scream.
-Everybody's Fine revolves around a father's attempt to connect with his grown children.
-Up In the Air confirms 2009 is the year of a GEORGE CLOONEY HAT TRICK.
Upload your video review to Current for any of those three films by Sunday [12/6] at midnight to be considered for the show next Thursday.
So what's else in release? Glad you asked:
-Until the Light Takes Us is the doc on Norwegian Death Metal and the fervor it caused. If you're in NYC tonight, catch Aaron Hillis moderating the Q&A at 7 and 9:15 p.m. at Cinema Village.
-Armored is essentially a B-Grade heist flick featuring "That Guy" from multiple TV shows. And Jean Reno.
-Transylmania is like Stan Hellsing, I imagine, but with an actual commercial budget.
-The Strip is...uh...well. The last time I saw Dave Foley was when I saw his dick.
-Serious Moonlight is literally ghoulish.
-Across The Hall has "(Danny Pino, TV’s Cold Case)" and "(Brittany Murphy, The Ramen Girl, 8 Mile).") Mm.
-Big River Man proves a fat drunk can do anything he wants, so shut the hell up.
-Breaking Point answers the question: "what's Tom Beringer, Busta Rhymes and Armand Assante's going rate?"
-Gigante sounds like (to steal David Fear's line) Taxi Driver meets Say Anything by way of CCTV.
-Loot wins our "Doc to See This Week or else Don't Come Back" award.
-Paa is about seeing something horrifying and then YOU SEE IT IN YOUR NIGHTMARES: THIS.
