Known for my punctuality, I'm usually the girl people ask, "what time is it?" After my old watch broke last year, I've been relying on my cell phone to tell the time. But that's all changed now that I'm sporting REVEAL's stylish Chirukin Bamboo Watch (http://www.revealshop.com/products/chikurin-watch).
So why is this watch eco-friendly, you ask? Bamboo is ultra durable and doesn't contain the BPA or phthalates that are common in plastic. As you can see, it has a gorgeous natural color so there's no paint needed. Bamboo is also the fastest growing woody plant on earth and it grows without the need for chemicals or large amounts of water.
This watch is also fun to wear! I like the feeling of the smooth and light-weight wood on my wrist. It's versatile enough to work with all my outfits and actually looks like a cool bracelet until you notice the clock face.
For other styles, be sure to check out REVEAL's Luxury Bamboo Watch for men and Luxury Forest Watch made out of beechwood.
Read more about the company's sustainability initiatives on REVEAL's blog (http://blog.revealshop.com/) and their rePlant Project in partnership with American Forests (http://www.revealshop.com/pages/social-responsibility).

“When we think about global warming, growing cancer rates, deepening poverty in some of the world’s poorest countries, and even increasing chemical sensitivities, our clothes closets are probably not the first villain that comes to mind, but our clothes can be a significant, quiet co-conspirator,” says organicconsumer.org.
Fortunately for the image-conscious, protecting the environment for future generations doesn’t mean that the modern fashionista can’t still flaunt her fabulousness in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly way.

If you ever shop at Whole Foods, you're sure to come across some cool-looking t-shirts made by Green Label Organic with slogans like "Conscious Consumption" and "Grow Your Own." With the motto, "Respect Labor, Respect the Planet, Respect Yourself," Green Label's colorful collections of 100% certified organic tops are not only fun to wear, they support sustainable practices and deliver positive messages about the issues that are important to us all.
Green Label Organic is a family owned and operated business located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The company was co-created three years ago as a labor of love for George, a long time T-shirt designer who has always wanted to change the world, and his wife Rain, an extraordinary organic grower and lifetime environmentalist. After learning about the severe environmental impact of conventionally grown cotton, they set out to educate and inform as many people as possible to the importance of supporting organic farming and responsible, sustainable business practices.
