Fox News came under fire recently after the network was caught using footage from Sarah Palin's vice-presidential campaign to illustrate one of her book signings. This prompted the network to issue a pledge of zero tolerance for on-screen errors.
During the segment "Tip of the Hat/Wag of the Finger," Stephen Colbert called out the network for its stupidity: "What are you doing? You're fair and balanced. To be fair, you have to balance every fact with corresponding bullshit." His solution: using air quotes during the newscast. This strategy would allow the network to let the audience know that they are being ironic when reporting the news.

Suzanne Sena, who anchored primetime and late-night breaking news on Fox News from 2006-2008, has found a new home: the Onion News Network (h/t TVNewser, CCInsider).
Sena now portrays Onion News Network newsreader Ana Gentry.
Ex-CNN anchor Bobbie Batista also appears on the network.
In the clip below, Sena/Gentry leads coverage mocking President Obama for his reliance on the teleprompter. The clip is titled, "Obama's Home Teleprompter Malfunctions During Family Dinner."

It's Sesame Street's 40th anniversary and while Google is celebrating with Big Bird's feet, we are more interested in Oscar the Grouch's latest antics. Yes, it seems the surly, trash-can-living muppet is busting out his reporter chops these days and much to the dismay of his audience he's being all lovey-dovey with his interviewees. At the end of the segment one of his viewers calls to tell him she's changing the channel, "From now on I am watching 'Pox' News. Now there is a trashy news show."
