Peter Doran’s music style compares with Damien Rice, David Grey, and Amos Lee. Lyrically, Doran’s style compares to the artistry of Bob Dylan and Neil Young, but remains very much an original writer and he stays clear of forced lyrics, an often trait that many novice songwriters are compelled to overdo.
“Sleepless Streets” is a rich blend of natural sounds and it stirs clear from popular rock music. It isn’t mundane nor does the album laying waste alongside in a sea of average acoustic rock bands.

Listen to a LIVE in studio interview with emerging rock artist, [BRËN]. BREN is a rock artist that compares to the likes of Alice in Chains, Dream Theatre, 3 Doors Down, Shine Down, ill Nino, Finger Eleven, and Papa Roach.
On January 1st, [BRËN] released his debut CD, "Anywhere but Here...", but was unable to have a CD release tour, because BREN is originally a one man band. Not only does BRËN vocalize every song, he performs lead guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard.
It wasn't until Fall of 2010, that BREN was able to conjure up an ensomble of new bandmates that could exemplify the essence of [BRËN].

The Locals are an alternative rock / indie trio from Chicago, IL. Delivering exceptional sound created by Lead-singer and Guitarist, Yvonne Doll, Bassist, Christy Nunes, and Kirk Snedeker on drums. With captivating retro guitar rhythms, drum melodies with a modern spin and combined with Yvonne's powerful and smokey voice, this compelling combination makes this band certainly unique. Reminiscing with a sound similar to the 90’s rock with artists like The Divinyls, Garabage, or even No Doubt, The Locals poses their own quality that is definitely their own.
Listen to a special 4-track preview with a special guest appearance with Yvonne Doll. http://thegreatunknowns.podomatic.com/entry/2010-07-02T07_00_57-07_00

2009 was a busy year for the indie-rock band from Albany, NY. Ten Year Vamp was not only busy for the calender filled scores of concert appearences, but they released their first hard-pounding with no disappointment full length album entitled, Don't Act Like You Know Me, a follow up to their 2006 six-track EP, Under the Mask.
Ten Year Vamp is probably THE most successful indie bands of 2009. Not only have they been voted “Best Local Band” in Capital Region Living Magazine, but they were also voted as #1 album of the year by Zack Zaggy and was selected among 100 bands with a top 10 rating on Wildy's World.
