Another mystery of the human Genome revealed and ready for commercial or governmental application.
Research suggests that a newly identified gene known as insomniac is an important reason why we don’t stay up all night. By cloning and testing this gene in fruit flies, Rockefeller University researchers say they have discovered an entirely new mechanism by which sleep is regulated.
Nicholas Stavropoulos, a postdoc, and Michael W. Young, Richard and Jeanne Fisher Professor and head of the Laboratory of Genetics, conducted a genetic screen of approximately 21,000 fruit flies. Using a device that employs infrared beams to detect when the flies nod off, they discovered that a specific mutation in the insomniac gene was associated with a dramatic reduction in sleep. While a typical fruit fly sleeps for average of 927 minutes a day, insomniac flies snoozed for just 317. The mutant flies also slept for shorter periods of time, and slept and woke more frequently.
“The results showed a dramatic loss of both the duration of the flies’ sleep and their ability to remain asleep after they dozed off,” says Stavropoulos. “But what’s especially interesting is that the insomniac gene may function through homeostatic mechanisms. These are distinct from the well-studied circadian clock pathways linked to sleep, and have an effect on the body regardless of the time of day.”
The scientists believe that insomniac works by engaging a specific series of protein degradation pathways in neurons through a complex known as Cul3. If correct, this would be the first time that a protein degradation pathway, in which specific proteins are eliminated within a cell, has been linked to sleep.
What’s more, the researchers examined the link between sleep and lifespan, finding that flies with mutations to the insomniac gene lived only about two-thirds as long as unaltered flies (other studies have suggested similar effects in both flies and rats that are deprived of sleep). But when the scientists eliminated insomniac only in neurons — allowing it to remain in the rest of the flies’ bodies — this disparity was eliminated; the resulting animals slept poorly but lived just as long.
“This suggests that reduced sleep can be ‘uncoupled’ from reduced lifespan, supporting the idea that some disruptions of sleep do not effect overall health, at least as far as lifespan is concerned,” Stavropoulos says....

Next week, in Switzerland, Henry Kissinger and his brave band of corporate CEOs, high-wealth individuals and heavyweight thinktankers will lock arms with Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and David Rockefeller, and stand their ground against the economic contagion.
The last thing a bunch of bank bosses and multinational executives wants is for the nation-states of Europe to collapse, allowing their assets to be bought up on the cheap. Right?
Besides, if anyone can lay claim to fathering the EU, it’s Bilderberg. Sixty years ago, Europe was a mere Bilderbaby, conceived in a solemn ceremony on Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands’ mattress. It grew into a fine young Bilderboy, but the years have caught up with it, and now it seems its knees are creaking and its heart is weak.
Perhaps the clear mountain air of St Moritz will prove just the tonic. The Bilderberg Group is gathering there between 9-12 June, at the Hotel Suvretta House, described on its website thus: “Like a beautiful fairytale castle, our hotel is embedded in the fantastic alpine landscape of the Upper Engadine.” No mention of the magical rooftop snipers or the fairytale ring of armed riot police, but maybe they’ll be updating their website in time for the conference....

Just months after a leaked UN blueprint that revealed climate change alarmists would start pushing "overpopulation" fears in favor of the discredited mantra of global warming as a means of dismantling the middle class, billionaire globalist Ted Turner followed suit during a Cancun luncheon yesterday when he urged the world to adopt China’s brutal one-child policy, and even suggested poor people should be sterilized in return for government handouts.
Following a speech by economist Brian O’Neill from the U.S.’s National Center for Atmospheric Research which “concluded that a rapidly rising global population is contributing to an acceleration of emission growth,” Uncle Ted stepped in to remind us that mere slaves should not aspire to follow his example of having five children, restricting themselves to one or being made to face the wrath of a Chinese-style one child policy, which sends women who defy its edicts to “re-education camps,”once they have been beaten, forcibly injected and had their baby boiled alive inside their womb of course.
“Mr. Turner – a long-time advocate of population control – said the environmental stress on the Earth requires radical solutions, suggesting countries should follow China’s lead in instituting a one-child policy to reduce global population over time. He added that fertility rights could be sold so that poor people could profit from their decision not to reproduce,” reports the Globe and Mail.
The secret behind Turner’s call for western nations to enforce a tyrannical policy that in China is administered by undercover police and “family planning” authorities who kidnap, force drug and then forcibly abort babies of pregnant women, has nothing whatsoever to do with his concern for the environment.
Turner himself has five children and owns no less than 2 million acres of land. He is the largest private landowner on the planet, falling short of only the royal families of Europe. Turner has publicly advocated shocking population reduction programs that would cull the human population by a staggering 95%, a figure only achievable by outright genocide, mass abortion and infanticide.
In the third world, Turner has contributed literally billions to population reduction, namely throughUnited Nations programs, leading the way for the likes of Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet(Gates’ father has long been a leading board member of Planned Parenthood and a top eugenicist). Gates himself has given speeches in which he promotes the use of vaccines and abortion as a means of reducing global population and lowering CO2 emissions.
Quite how an improvement in health care through vaccines that supposedly save lives would lead to a lowering in global population is an oxymoron, unless Gates was referring to vaccines that sterilize people, which is precisely the same method advocated in White House science advisor John P. Holdren’s 1977 textbook Ecoscience, which calls for a dictatorial “planetary regime” to enforce draconian measures of population reduction via all manner of oppressive techniques, including sterilization.
This is what Gates and Turner discussed when they met in secret with the likes of George Soros and David Rockefeller at a private gathering of billionaires in Manhattan last year, a confab focused around how these globalists could use their wealth to “slow the growth of the world’s population.”

The average person can barely imagine why World War III would be anything but a civilization-ending event. And, yet, we have heard Neocons ramping up rhetoric that suggests a new world war would be a viable option to correct a dying dollar and economy. Or, perhaps it is simply a sound investment if you are a Globalist.
RAND Corporation documents point to a desire for total war abroad and at home. The recent reactivation of North and South Korea tensions could be a potential catalyst in an East-West World War scenario possibly involving nukes. However, the next World War doesn't necessarily need to be a conflagration; it could be a steady, slow, coldly calculated design to plunge the globe into austerity and totalitarian control through regulations such as those proposed by Codex Alimentarius and Agenda 21.
So, if one puts on the thinking cap of a sociopath, one might find the following 6 reasons are perfect to start World War III, by nukes or by stealth, and further the agenda of world governance.
Distraction: Regional conflicts both military and financial are being exposed as blatant economic looting and divide-and-conquer techniques. Protests are erupting across the globe as people are waking up to their enslavement en masse. Simultaneously, the high-tech police state is unfolding; endgame legislation is being passed to criminalize independence and control the Internet; and a reduction in the standard of living is minimizing the ability to purchase even simple distractions like cable TV. The greatest awakening is that an exponential number of people are beginning to realize that their voice has no meaning in the political arena. The left-right political paradigm is in grave danger, and has been made even more glaringly obvious by recent actions such as Obama awarding the medal of freedom to Bush, Sr. Add to this the calls for arresting Bush, Jr. as a war criminal (and the subsequent questioning of why Obama would not support such a trial) and we begin to see indications that people are seeing through The Quigley Formula. With such a populist uprising against all forms of oppression, the time appears to be ripe for the ultimate distraction.
Boost the Dollar: The first thing that happened when shots were fired between North and South Korea was a flight to the dollar, just like every other crisis. Russia and China just announced that they quit the dollar, and yet the dollar refuses to collapse despite fundamentals that are truly sickening. It is almost as if there are too many crises for the Russia-China announcement to even matter. Perfect timing. Rather, it would be a fine strategy for the dollar to rebound before being dissolved into a global currency, as the dollar backs the premier world superpower. We now have a twin storyline of both financial and military wars leading toward the same goal. This could be the beginning of a monetary and real WWIII strategy set up to coordinate a universal collapse to benefit global interests. And let's not forget on which currency it actually reads New World Order.
Global Hegemony: The elimination of "rogue nations" is at the heart of the Globalist agenda, which seeks consolidation into the hands of a few powerful regions. In fact, it has been the stated goal of The Trilateral Commission since its inception in 1973 under Rockefeller and Brzezinski. Brzezinski's response in 1974 to the question, What is The New World Order? says it all: "We need to change the international system for a global system in which new, active, and creative forces -- recently developed -- should be integrated." Since then, integration has been used to great effect by the U.S. to start wars where "terrorist" regimes can be subverted or dismantled, and their flags (resources) captured. China is in a similar position with the vassal rogue state of North Korea where they can cattle prod it to action when convenient. China is now being pressured by the global community to rein in the regime. Perfect, they can consolidate their holdings in a similar fashion to what the U.S. has already done with South Korea. This new Korean conflict could have the perfect dual effect of the Western world running to the safety of the Anglo-American establishment (and the dollar), while the East seeks the backing of China to correct instability in the region. And all the while Russia and Iran are there for a potential final solution.
A "Feel Good" War: For those not attuned to the larger Globalist agenda, America is in dire need of a feel-good war . . . another Nazi Germany-style threat possessing undisputed intentions of global dominance. Enter China from stage left. Communist China has not condemned North Korea for their latest actions, and has given early warnings to the U.S. about naval exercises in their "exclusive economic zone." If this continues, they only enhance their position as the perfect common enemy of the West. Those who are naturally opposed to Globalism see China as the prime example of the policies which will lead to global tyranny. A war with China, or Communism in general, will give the West more than just a bogeyman in a cave, but one that truly is seen as a physical and economic threat to Western civilization. Mass opposition to the lies that led to wars in the Middle East have all but exhausted the Bin Laden version of Goldstein pushed in that Orwellian storyline. Time to roll out the real threat, as the Globalist agenda accelerates toward its endgame.
Investment in the Military-Industrial Complex: 54% of the U.S. Federal budget is spent on the military in all of its forms, as it continues to expand at warp speed overseas and on the streets of America. Traditional weapons of physical destruction, as well as high-tech weaponry and mind-controlled soldiers straight out of science fiction are set to align with the surveillance and tracking capabilities of biometrics and predictive behavior criminology. New wars are always needed; particularly small-scale regional conflicts such as those suggested over and over again by Zbigniew Brzezinski and other Globalist geo-politicians. However, their own writings indicate a time when the regional conflicts must morph into a global one in order to fulfill the final agenda of an integrated scientific global dictatorship which comes after the consolidation required by Word War III. The final war won't have a name because it will be global governance unabashedly unleashed against the people it has systematically enslaved. This final war has one goal:
Depopulation: This part of the agenda is still difficult for most people to grasp, but it is imperative to ask the question, What will global governance offer once its objectives of "order out of chaos" are achieved? We need only look at the results on a country-by-country basis when Globalist organizations like the World Bank and IMF have taken over: more poverty, more sickness, and a decrease in life expectancy. They already have been operating by stealth with soft-kill weaponsdesigned to weaken resistance and cause sterility. The Russian geopolitical analyst, Konstantin Sivkov, who believes WWIII has begun already stated that, "History shows that the 'elite' of selfish civilizations do not get stopped by human sacrifices if there is a guarantee that they, themselves, will survive in bunkers."
They have the bunkers.
We may or may not hear WWIII announced on the evening news, but we can look for the signs of global consolidation that defines the agenda of the New World Order. With every new conflict and every new piece of legislation it seems that those signs are becoming more obvious by the day.

Bill Gates looks so angelic and friendly. Looks are deceptive. This man is trying to rule and ruin the world with the help of philanthropists and the scientific dictatorship.
Microsoft founder and one of the world’s wealthiest men, Bill Gates, projects an image of a benign philanthropist using his billions via
his (tax exempt) Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to tackle diseases, solve food shortages in Africa and alleviate poverty. In a conference
in California, Gates reveals a less public agenda of his philanthropy—population reduction, otherwise known as eugenics.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, along with David Rockefeller’s Rockefeller Foundation, the creators of the GMO biotechnology, are
also financing a project called The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) headed by former UN chief, Kofi Annan. Accepting the
role as AGRA head in June 2007 Annan expressed his “gratitude to the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and
all others who support our African campaign.” The AGRA board is dominated by people from both the Gates’ and Rockefeller foundations.
Monsanto, DuPont, Dow, Syngenta and other major GMO agribusiness giants are reported at the heart of AGRA, using it as a back-door
to spread their patented GMO seeds across Africa under the deceptive label, ‘bio-technology,’ a euphemism for genetically engineered
patented seeds. The person from the Gates Foundation responsible for its work with AGRA is Dr. Robert Horsch, a 25-year Monsanto
GMO veteran who was on the team that developed Monsanto’s RoundUp Ready GMO technologies. His job is reportedly to use Gates’
money to introduce GMO into Africa.
To date South Africa is the only African country permitting legal planting of GMO crops. In 2003 Burkina Faso authorized GMO trials.
In 2005 Kofi Annan’s Ghana drafted bio-safety legislation and key officials expressed their intentions to pursue research into GMO crops.
AGRA is being used to create networks of “agro-dealers” across Africa, at first with no mention of GMO seeds or herbicides, in order to
have the infrastructure in place to massively introduce GMO.
Farmers and civil society organizations around the world are outraged by the recent discovery of further connections between the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation and agribusiness titan Monsanto. Monsanto is a company that practices eugenics (I’m sorry new term
is Bioethics, how nice), and Billy and that perky little Melinda really want to destroy at least 4/5s of the population. These people make
Obama seem good.
“The Foundation’s direct investment in Monsanto is problematic on two primary levels,” said Dr. Phil Bereano, University of Washington
Professor Emeritus and recognized expert on genetic engineering. “First, Monsanto has a history of blatant disregard for the interests
and well-being of small farmers around the world, as well as an appalling environmental track record. The strong connections to Monsanto
cast serious doubt on the Foundation’s heavy funding of agricultural development in Africa and purported goal of alleviating poverty and
hunger among small-scale farmers. Second, this investment represents an enormous conflict of interests.”
More recently, the Foundation has come under fire in its own hometown. During the week of August 27, 2010, 250 Seattle residents sent
postcards expressing their concern that the Foundation’s approach to agricultural development, rather than reducing hunger as pledged,
would instead “increase farmer debt, enrich agribusiness corporations like Monsanto and Syngenta, degrade the environment, and
dispossess small farmers.” In addition to demanding that the Foundation instead fund “socially and ecologically appropriate practices
determined locally by African farmers and scientists” and support African food sovereignty, they urged the Foundation to cut all ties to
Monsanto and the biotechnology industry.
Everybody needs to flood the foundation with similar letters.
In late 2003, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was strongly criticized by “international charities, farmers’ groups and academics”
as a result of a $25 million grant it had given to “GM [genetically modified] research to develop vitamin and protein-enriched seeds for
the world's poor”. This money supported research being undertaken by two groups, the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture and
the International Food Policy Research Institute, two groups which played an integral role in the first Ford and Rockefeller Foundation-funded
(so-called) Green Revolution (see later). Both of these organizations are also part of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural
Research (CGIAR), a group of global public institutes that is “widely accused of being a creature of its two major funders – the US and
the World Bank”. However, although linked to the World Bank what most critical commentators fail to comment on is the fact that CGIAR
was formed as a result of a “series of private conferences held at the Rockefeller Foundation’s conference center in Bellagio, Italy” and it’s
work has been strongly supported by all manner of liberal foundations. Thus while a good case can be made that the Gates Foundation has
been highly influenced by other liberal foundations, like the Rockefeller Foundation, John Vidal (2003) points out that there are also “
reasons to believe that the Gates food agenda is now being shaped by US corporate and government interests”. This is because in regard
to their support for CGIAR the Gates Foundation chose to partner with the US Department of Agriculture and USAID – “two of the most
active pro-GM organisations in the world.” (Brian Tokar in his 2004 book, Gene Traders: Biotechnology, World Trade, and the Globalization
of Hunger, provides a critical overview of the US involvements in GM developments.)

agencies, in order as far as this is possible to prevent the State from becoming either too large or too small.”
The activities of the ruling elite in controlling population, writes Plato, must be kept secret. He writes, “Now these goings on must be a secret
which the rulers only know, or there will be a further danger of our herd… breaking out into rebellion.”
The “secret billionaire club” meeting in May of 2009 primarily focused around population control, a cause célèbre embraced by David Rockefeller,

An ABC Nightline hit piece on Alex Jones which aired last night attempts to smear the radio talk show host as a dangerous purveyor of “paranoia porn” who is inciting followers to violence, an unfortunate angle to take in light of the fact that just a day earlier, James Jay Lee was inspired not by Alex Jones, but by top-down establishment propaganda about environmentalism, when he decided to take hostages at gunpoint during the Discovery Channel building siege.
The headline of the piece, “Angry in America: Inside Alex Jones’ World,” instantly implies that Jones lives within his own paranoid fantasy bubble and that “Alex Jones’ world” bears no relation to the real world.
The agenda from the outset is to portray Jones as a kind of freak show leader for mentally disturbed conspiracy theorists. Interviewer Dan Harris constantly asks Jones if he believes in what he says, an ceaseless ploy to undermine the authenticity of the subjects about which Jones warns his listeners.
Jones is depicted not as a journalist, but as an entertainer and a purveyor of “paranoia porn,” as if his entire career is just one big sideshow, something to be scoffed at by real intellectuals who watch ABC News. The problem with this smear is the fact that ABC News, along with almost every other establishment media network, is hemorrhaging viewers because their credibility is shot.
In the Nightline piece, Harris fumbled in his effort to characterize Jones as a conspiracy nut after Jones pointed out the obvious — the global elite are establishing world government. ABC and the corporate media have reported on this fact numerous times. Jones showed Harris and ABC documentation of this fact, but it ended up on the cutting room floor because the point of the Nightline segment is not to present objective facts, but portray Jones as a dangerous conspiracy kook.
Is the usually staid Wall Street Journal a coven of conspiracy nuts? In November of 2009, the newspaper reported that the Copenhagen Agreement engineered plans for “a transnational ‘government’ on a scale the world has never before seen” under the aegis of the United Nations.
The Financial Times published an article in late 2008 on the agenda to establish “global governance,” shorthand for world government. Gideon Rachman, FT’s chief foreign affairs commentator, wrote that while he does not believe in black helicopters, “for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.”
Earlier this year, European Council president Herman Van Rompuy went on the record in a very visible way and demanded world government in response to the bankster engineered financial crisis, itself a ploy to force world government on Europe and the rest of the developed world. Van Rompuy’s call was covered by the Independent, another staid establishment newspaper. Nobody called the editors deranged conspiracy theory mental cases.
Indeed, when Jones provided Harris and ABC News with articles and clips of Van Rompuy and a multitude of other top globalists calling for a new world order and a one world government, Harris simply claimed that they were talking about a different kind of world government, whatever that is supposed to mean. Presumably, the conspiracy for world government only exists if it is characterized as a happy-clappy utopia for everyone. As soon as you dare criticize it and point out that its very nature is fundamentally undemocratic, you instantly become a dangerous lunatic and the whole thing doesn’t exist.
ABC is well aware of the world government agenda, but they count on the ignorance of their audience — or the perceived ignorance, since millions of people are now awake to the reality of a one-world authoritarian government. ABC’s assigned task is to convince people Jones is a dangerous nut, not present the facts in an objective manner. It is irrelevant that Jones backs up his claims with plenty of research.
Harris repeated the corporate media canard that the water is safe to drink and only paranoid right-wing nut cases talk about fluoride and drugs in our drinking water. And yet the corporate media routinely reports on the dangers of water fluoridation and numerous cities and municipalities around the country are calling for the substance to be removed.
In 2008, paranoid and dangerous radicals at none other than USA Today reported that pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans. The New York Times attempted to mollify the herd by claiming the presence of this cocktail of poison is not necessarily a bad thing. “Little study has been devoted to the long-term effects of low-concentration exposure on humans,” the Gray Lady reported, never mind numerous studies revealing the presence of drugs has feminized male fish, earthworms and zooplankton.
ABC wasn’t going to allow Jones the time to present a shred of evidence because this wasn’t a balanced investigation, it was a hit piece. John P. Holdren, the current White House science czar, wrote a textbook in which he called for a “planetary regime” to carry out forced abortions and mandatory sterilization procedures, as well as drugging the water supply in an effort to cull the human surplus. Harris wasn’t about to give that issue a moment’s attention because the whole process was about shooting down the messenger, not seriously evaluating any of the evidence of Alex Jones’ claims.
It should come as no surprise Dan Harris and ABC did not include documentation Alex Jones provided to make his point, documentation easy enough to find if one searches the corporate media’s own stories posted on the internet. ABC and other corporate media dinosaurs are not interested in reporting the truth. A million people listening and watching Alex Jones six days a week is the issue, not world government or the soft kill agenda of the global elite.
Indeed, ABC itself reported on the secret meeting between billionaires such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and David Rockefeller, a gathering to discuss ways of curbing overpopulation, and yet Harris cites a CNN article about encouraging women not to have children and dismisses it as nothing more than sarcasm.
ABC’s hit piece — while mostly polite with well-placed zingers designed to convince people to stay away from Jones and the patriot and truth movement — is mostly a flailing and doomed effort.
Far too many people are awake and many of them understand what ABC’s Nightline segment on Alex Jones represents — a desperate and feeble attempt to shut down the opposition. Casting Jones as a dangerous hatemonger is absurd and will not demonize the man or his message.
