SEAN HANNITY and RUDY GUILIANI were on FOX NEWS last night calling for PRESIDENT OBAMA to send the Pacific Fleet into waters off NORTH KOREA as a warning to them that we will attack if they don't stop the missile development.
This kind of talk is typcial from right wing "chickenhawks" who were too chicken to serve in the United States military.
Hannity claims he was too young to join the military during the Vietnam War. What about joining the military when there isn't a war, Sean?
Giuliani did not serve in the military during the Vietnam War. His conscription was deferred while he was enrolled at Manhattan College and NYU Law. Upon graduation from NYU Law in 1968, he was classified by the Selective Service System as 1-A, available for military service. He applied for a deferment but was rejected. In 1969, Judge Lloyd Francis MacMahon wrote a letter to Giuliani's draft board, asking that he be reclassified as 2-A, civilian occupation deferment, because Giuliani, who was a law clerk for MacMahon, was an essential employee. The deferment was granted. Was Jodi Arias victim of abuse? According to a domestic violence expert who testified last week, the answer might be affirmative. Alyce LaViolette testified about previously undisclosed emails from Travis Alexander's close friends that indicate he had a history of being abusive, The HuffPost reported March 29.
"They have basically advised Ms. Arias to move on from the relationship . . . that Mr. Alexander has been abusive to women," psychotherapist LaViolette testified. LaViolette was referencing email exchanges between Arias, Alexander and his longtime friends Chris and Sky Hughes.
In one of the emails, Alexander called himself a sociopath and Arias a "booty call," the online publication EnStarz reported April 1.
The email's contents were outlined in court records filed in January, 2011 according to another report, with the following statements: "A response from Mr. Hughes . . . wherein he asserts that he believes Jodi would be his (Travis') next victim and that Jodi was just another girl that he (Travis) was playing" and "that Alexander considered Arias to be a "booty call."

The Jodi Arias murder trial has captured the interest people all across the country. The 32-year old beauty has admitted to killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander by shooting him in the head, stabbing him 27 times and slitting his throat from ear to ear. She claims it was in self defense. The prosecution claims it was pre-meditated. The trial resumes Monday, March 4 "live" TruTV and CNN's HLN (Headline News) when Arias is back on the witness stand during the rehabilitation phase of her defense. She could end up with the death penalty if the jury doesn't buy her self-defense story. HLN anchors and legal pundits are by far the worst commentators on television. All of them have already decided JODI ARIAS deserves to be put to death for murdering her ex boyfriend TRAVIS ALEXANDER. They don't believe she can't recall all the details of the murder and they call it "selective memory." Obviously none of the HLN anchors and legal pundits have ever been in combat or they would know it is very common not to remember the details of a savage firefight. All you have to do is enlist in the United States Army and Uncle Sam will provide you with a gun, ammo and it is all free.
But that isn't all.
If you are lucky enough, Uncle Sam will provide you with someone to kill and the best part is you won't be charged with murder.
Other benefits include three hots and a cot and free health insurance in case you are shot before you shoot the "bad guy."
There is also free food prepared by the United States Army cooks, or you will be given MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) which are mouth-watering.
During your basic training, the Army cooks will prepare SOS (S..t on a Shingle) a delicious combination of creamed chipped beef served on toast which you can smell at least a mile away.
But the best part by far is there are no concealed weapons laws and you get to carry your gun (rifle) everywhere you go.
For the life of me, I can't understand why gun lovers don't take advantage of this opportunity courtesy of Uncle Sam.
And one last thing.
If you go on a killing spree, you won't be called a serial killer, but instead you might be lucky enough to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
I had all these wonderful benefits and I'm not even a gun lover.
