According to PopCrunch one of the Real World DC cast members has faked her own cancer scare. Really, if you must fake your own cancer so that people will stay close to you or to get attention from them then you must be pretty screwed up. Think about it, how many of you would say that you had cancer just so someone would stay close to you? I know I wouldn’t.
Erika Lauren Wasilewski who is 22-years-old has admitted to feigning skin cancer just to win an old boyfriend back....

I attended the live first round of a singing competition put on by Local Celebrity TV – Los Angeles last night in West Hollywood at the Eleven Night Club and Restaurant located at 8811 Santa Monica Blvd. The competition is much like that of American Idol, but its local to Los Angeles. The show was hosted by Ryan Ray of Wake Up TV and the celebrity judges were:
Fawn – Recording artist, songwriter and performer
Arnold G – International dance/pop recording artist, songwriter, dancer and performer
Kris Searle – Singer, songwriter and international recording artist/performer
You could tell this was a Los Angeles production because all of the contestants were hot! They all had really great attitudes too – kudos on the line up creator!
The event was opened by Denicar Bergancia who won first prize in this contest on November 15th, 2009 and was awarded $200. Denicar went with Me & Mr. Jones by Amy Winehouse and wow, she was excellent. Denicar is tiny, but her voice is not tiny at all, its big and beautiful. Nice job Denicar!
First performer up was GG Smith. GG sang Take Me As I Am by Mary J. Blige. Gigi was very good, and beautiful, but let’s face it, if you heard GG’s version you’d surely agree she’s no Mary J. Blige.
Kris said she “needs to be more confident”, Fawn thought she “looked gorgeous, had a nice voice, but felt disconnected”, Arnold G said he “liked the song, but got lost in the middle”.
Diana Vega was up next. Diana, for reasons only she and God knows, picked Hot and Cold by Katy Perry. The song is great when Katy Perry sings it and just a complete mess for anyone else who tries. Poor Diana. Bad song choice.
Kris said “it felt strained, she needed to breathe properly, and it was the wrong song”. Fawn thought she “had good stage presence, but was too nasally”. Arnold G said it “was off pitch and a bad song for you”.
Next up, Rachel Escalara with Alicia Keys’ “How Come You Don’t Call Me”. Rachel was supermodel gorgeous, a great singer and an excellent performer. You could tell Rachel was born for singing and entertaining because she was really shy in talking with Ryan Ray, but once she got the microphone in her hand she was like a superstar in the making.
Kris said she was “confident and the best so far”. Fawn thought she “had it going on”. Arnold G said she was his “favorite of the night so far”.
Up next was Rosy Donovan. Rosy chose “Hurt” by Christina Aguilera. With utmost honesty I say to you this is by far the best rendition of one of Christina Aguilera’s songs I have ever heard. I thought it was excellent. She had a top notch voice, very controlled and excellent stage presence.
Kris said “he totally believed it and had goosebumps”. Fawn said she “had a beautiful voice and was very natural”. Arnold G said “she was very connected”.
Tara Thomas was up next with Mariah Carey’s “Hero”. Tara had a beautiful voice and was gorgeous, but she was no Mariah Carey, not even remotely close. She really lacked confidence as evidenced by her bad posture. Many times throughout the performance I experienced boredom.
Kris said she “needed to watch her posture and loosen up”. Fawn thought “she looked lovely, had a beautiful voice, but wasn’t natural”. The Simon Cowell of the show, Arnold G, said “it didn’t do anything for him”.
Up next was Brian Miller with Neo’s “Closer Tonight”. The sad thing about this time around for Brian was that he was so nervous it wasn’t what we all obviously knew it could have been. Brian was very handsome, and had a fantastic voice. I wish I could hear that again nerve free.
Kris said “he was very nervous, but had great power, and magic”. Fawn he had a “great voice and had really good potential”. I must have been wrapped up in how cute he was because I didn’t get what Arnold G said about it.
Mika Mulkey from Hawaii was up next playing the ukulele singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow. It was his own version and it was very nice. Very soothing. Well done Mika.
Kris said he “wasn’t the normal cookie cutter” and he “loved his originality”. Fawn thought it was “a little pitchy, but pretty solid”. Arnold G replied with “it did nothing for me”.
Next, Nate Gaines who chose Stevie Wonders “Cherie Amor”. Nate was great.
Kris said he was “great singer and had a great smile”. Fawn thought he “rocked it” and Arnold G said it was “a nice song choice, great voice”.
Leandro Fossi was next and he was singing “Someday” by Rob Thomas. I thought Leandro was the best of the night.
Kris said he was “very genuine”. Fawn though he was “original and had potential”. Arnold G thought was “pitchy here and there but a good performance”.
Last, but not least was Shane Facchinello singing R Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly”. I’ll give him an A for effort, but I don’t think he was good enough to sing for a career. Maybe he chose a song too big, I don’t know, but this particular performance was not good for me.
Kris said it was a “good performance”. Fawn thought he had “great stage presence and a good voice”. Arnold G was a bit confused. “Why did you pick that song?” he asked. “You are nothing like him.”
With every competition there are eliminations, last nights eliminations were Diana Vega and Tara Thomas.
All in all it was a really great time. The event is to be held every Sunday from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm until March 21, 2010. To watch the show come join us Sundays in West Hollywood at 8811 Santa Monica Blvd at the Eleven Night Club and Restaurant or tune in at LocalCelebrityTV.com
