Dezyne, A Kenyan Hiphop Artist Based in Texas wrote a song featuring Ugandan singing sensation Sera Along with the Swahili MC from Kenya, K-Logic to do something rarely done in the Hiphop World. A song of Change Encouraging the Masses to Look withing themselves to "Give More than You Take" as the chorus says. The Song has been deemed successful for its instrumentation and lyricism. They say the Music industry is geared toward Materialism and Misogyny (degradation of women), Here is a prime example of what music should be doing is such uncertain times when the world is in turmoil. Working with Oxfam an organization well known in East Africa for its Accountability and, Dezyne hopes to get basic necessities to the People in the land so close to his heart. What if you could give a letter of closure to an ex-lover. Most people have "that person" they wish could explain why it all ended. Dezyne paints this picture in the song "letter to my ex" . Loosely based on his own past relationships, this song is not your typical love or hate tune.
