Good News, Everyone! Yesterday, there were local elections in the German country of Niedersachsen, and 59 (fifty-nine) seats were captured by the German Piratenpartei. This is a terrific result — the German Piratenpartei is on a roll right now. Next weekend, on the elections this coming Sunday, we expect the Piratenpartei to take seats in the Parliament in Berlin. It is absolutely amazing that we are taking the political jobs of those who are defending monopolies, locked-down culture and knowledge, and the erosion of civil liberties all over Europe at this rate. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/free-stuff/43006-german-piratenpartei-in-the-parliamentGood News, Everyone! Since Regan was elected into office in 1980, our nation has been involved in a culture war. I belive their has been an outrught assult on the principles that made us what we are. The hard work, perserverence, dedication, and balanced sense of right and wrong has been usurped. I think Morality, espically religious morality, is the underlying cancer. To understand my point, let me explain.
What is principle? Principle is based on fact. Wal-mart can claim to be an American success story. But can they make such a claim when very little of their products are manufactured in the US? Is it really an AMERICAN SUCCESS if they exthort billions in profits off the exploited backs of sweat shop labor, in third world countries?
The PRINCIPLE say's NO! Because it is NOT American made goods being sold in their box stores. They may have American named brands, but the goods themselves only touch American soil as finished products.
Morality, I believe, is a religious baised opinion. A facade to HIDE behind as justification for an action. Is it moral to exploit uneducated people in impoverished nations for profit? Here's the trick. It DEPENDS HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. They may argue that their currency is not as strong as the American Dollar. This is true. But it doesn't explain the 16 hour work days, dangerous working conditions, and the use of child labor.
The Moral view is that the American Corporations are providing financial employment for these poor impoverished people. Sounds nice, doesn't it. Helping these poor people. Than why hasn't there quality of life standards improved? Just look to the book of Leviticus for justification. Where it is Biblicaly Justified to own serfs or slaves. We may call this Exploitation, and they will call it Industrial Progression.
My point here is, since Regan's Religiousity was imposed on the middle class, we have been, not only degragated, but encouraged to lower our standards. The tools used, I believe is the injection of Moral Opinion in our information sources that are supposed to be non-biased and factual, (i.e. Principle based). We need a return to the "Fairness Doctourine", To demand ONLY FACT based news. No opinions, that's what this page is for.
I believe that since Regan, the Republicans, backed by their Evangical Brothern, have been hard ar work distroying the Principle's that made us the great nation that we WERE. (Sad we no longer are, BUT can be again) Since Regan we have seen tax exemptions for religious organizations, so long as they were CHRISTIAN ONLY. The assult on science, Separation of Church and State, Rewriting of History, false claim that we are a Christian Nation, Attacking Roe v.Wade, Citizens United, ect. I don't have enough space to name them all.
With the loss of our Standard of Principle's, This obsurdity will continue. How much longer can we continue to ignore facts and follow fiction? Whether we like the principle or not, the facts are the facts. We can change the facts and there fore change the principle.
What the PRINCIPLE stands at now is the FACT that we are headed for disaster in a DREAMY state of DELUSION. We need to reestablish the Standards.
What do you think??Since Regan was elected into office in 1980, our nation has been involved in a culture... more

In his brief article "Is Atheism Logical?", Hank Hanegraaff, , better known to most as "The Bible Answer Man." tries to show that atheism is not rationally justifiable. Although Hanegraaff's argument may have a superficial plausibility for some believers, it contains numerous errors.. First of all, Hanegraaff seems to believe that atheists must be able to be certain that there is no God in order for atheism to be rationally justifiable. This is not at all true. Although I am not certain that the sun will rise tomorrow (for all I know, a great cosmic catastrophe, perhaps the decay of the vacuum state of our universe, will annihilate the sun before it can rise tomorrow) I am certainly rationally justified in believing that it will. ......... http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/367-atheism-In his brief article "Is Atheism Logical?", Hank Hanegraaff, , better known... more

Convert your rentals to land contracts.Your obvious options are to sell or be the bank.
There are a number of positive things to be gained by converting your rentals into land contracts. A land contract is considered as an installment sale by the IRS. Instead of rent, in an installment sale you receive a land contract (PITI)
payment, which consists of principle, interest, taxes, and insurance. The interest is taxable, and the taxes and insurance are usually a wash because the money is a pass through, leaving the principle portion which is taxable only in proportion
to the difference between the purchase price and the land contract sale price.
Just as an example, you buy a house for $80,000 and sell it on a land contract for $100,000 a 20% gain. Thus, only 20% of the principle paid to you in any given year, including the down payment, is taxable. At the same time, if you have a
mortgage on the property, you have interest expenses which are still deductible.
The nice thing from the resident's standpoint is that they now respect you as the banker and enjoy the mortgage interest deduction and pride of ownership. In addition, their having made a down payment gives them a bigger stake in the property, and helps assure they'll look after your investment.
If they do not have adequate down payment you have the month and a half to take advantage of the 10% tax credit up to $8,000.
