Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is what happens when you take a mumbling hipster flick and toss it into a blender along with video games and indie rock culture. Directed by Edgar Wright, the movie is based on the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O’Malley. It’s a frenzied, energetic ride, but it peters out early and falls into repetitive patterns that don’t keep the flow going.

What Shaun of the Dead did for zombies, and Hot Fuzz for cops, the latest Simon Pegg-Nick Frost starrer Paul does for aliens. Pegg and Frost play two friends (again), on a road trip through America's UFO hot spots, when they have a close encounter with a real life alien, on the lam from Area 51. Paul is just like you'd imagine an extra terrestrial to look, but nothing how you'd expect one to act. Or talk (since he's voiced by Seth Rogen). This time around, Frost shared writing duties, too, so we asked him to set his phaser to stun.

With all those horrible movies out there (just kidding), there is an actor and/or actress wondering, "What am I doing wrong?"
Well there's two options: Bad actor or bad script.
So I couldn't help but wonder and with some research I've spotted one particular actor that seems to have not been box office gold. Chris Evans.
According to the Rotten Tomatoes site, the only "fresh" movie that he's had is 'Sunshine.' (And the next one hopefully going to be 'Scott PIlgrim vs. The World')
That's one movie out of 16.
Now, it's for you to decide.
So is Chris Evans a bad actor? Or is he simply the victim of cursed movie?

1. Accuracy!!! is key!!
When reading a comic book, you want it to me visually stunning! Take 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World for example. When watching the trailer compared to the actual comic, they hit it. Spot on! From the scenes to the dialog.
2. Get to know your characters!
Now the people who do the Marvel movies don't really have a problem with this, but unless your a comic that not very many people know about, it's best to maybe set that up in the beginning.
And lastly...
3. Have the big man on your side!
Big man as in the guy who made this spectacle your trying to recreate. Universal has Stan Lee and Kick-Ass has, well who even wrote the comic :)
So be sure you have huge input on what your doing. You don't want to turn into another Watchmen :)1. Accuracy!!! is key!!
