You're Statistically Most Likely to Get Laid on Wednesday NightNate Silver, stats wiz and predictor-extraordinaire, has set his mathematical mind on something a little sexier than the electoral college: sex. His findings? If you want to do that (sex), go out on a Wednesday. Why? Data explains!
Silver teamed up with sexual data treasure drove OK Cupid, and singled out Wednesday as your best shot of getting it on with some stranger you meet at a bar. Why? OK Cupid's mobile app provided raw data showing that singles take to the streets on Wednesday nights above all others, and that these same people tend to be more interested in an adventurous fling (as described in their profile). So, spend your weekend cleaning and finishing that novel, because Wednesday is the new time to hop on the O-train. “Wednesday” is the remarkable debut short film by the English filmmaker Rob Sorrenti, which has screened at 50 film festivals around the world, has won several awards and has recently been signed to Shorts International, the world’s largest short film distributor. “Wednesday” tells the story of a girl and boy born on the same day, at the same time, in the same hospital, whose paths cross again years later, in the very same place.
Sam, 24, is shy and introverted. The only woman in his life is his grandmother, Nan. Until now. Lilya, 24, is Nan’s nurse. She is kind and caring, and Nan would like to bring her and Sam together. But how? Nan soon discovers that playing Cupid is strictly for the angels. As if by chance, when Nan says her goodbye, Sam and Lilya say their hellos. But there is a sense of déjà vu. What was always meant to be is now becoming.
This piece includes a number of color photographs, as well as the very touching short film.

Look , I like Barack Obama, but some important information has come to light. The president, our president is a robot.
Ladies and gentlemen, your President is a robot. Or a wax sculpture. Maybe a cardboard cutout. All I know is no human being has a photo smile this amazingly consistent.
On Wednesday, the Obamas hosted a reception at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, during which they stood for 130 photographs with visiting foreign dignitaries in town for the UN meeting. The President has exactly the same smile in every single shot. See for yourself — the pictures are up on the State Department’s flickr. And, of course, compressed into 20 seconds for your viewing pleasure.

If I were a mainstream conspiracy theorist I might suggest that Barack Obama's robot like characteristics, mean that he was a robot created by the New World Order, to throw people onto death panels, and kill all human beings. But I'm an indie conspiracy theorist, while I believe that Barack Obama is a robot, it means he is working overtime to pursue progressive agenda's that are not humanly possible. A regular human has trouble convincing the lumpenproletariat that helping other secure health care is important. This is why a robot stand-in is simply necessary.Look , I like Barack Obama, but some important information has come to light. The... more
