On Saturday evening, 8/22 at 8pm, when the hour of Iftar marked the breaking of the Ramadan fast, the NATO command launched its "Operation Siren" against Libya.
The Sirens were the loudspeakers of the mosques, which were used to launch Al Qaeda's call to revolt against the Ghaddfy government. Immediately the sleeper cells of the Benghazi rebels went into action. These were small groups with great mobility, which carried out multiple attacks. The overnight fighting caused 350 deaths and 3,000 wounded. Read that part again.
The heavy, bloody fighting from NATO's docked warship in Tripoli harbor murdered mostly civilians, as is usual, but steered away from Journalists. Yet top government officials were camped in the same hotel, "Rixxos". One small grace in a bloodbath.
As of now, more than 1300 are "officially" dead and 5000 wounded, if such a thing can be quantified. What good is NATO in this land? They're supposed to be protecting all civilians in war-torn zones, whereas in reality, France and Great Britain have only started their colonial massacres.
After Khadmis Ghaffy personally delivered weapons for the defense of the Rixxos Hotel, the fighting has increased exponentially - of course.

An independent government report raises new questions about the likelihood of success for President Barack Obama's Afghanistan policy, which nearly doubles the number of U.S. troops there.
The report, by the Government Accountability Office, found that despite the boost in U.S. troops, the Taliban remain a resilient fighting force, and it suggests many factors remain in place that will allow the Taliban to survive U.S. efforts to eradicate them.An independent government report raises new questions about the likelihood of success... more
