The federal prosecutor tasked with quarterbacking the Obama administration's high-profile case against Arizona's immigration law is no stranger to controversy or the limelight.
Justice Department attorney Tony West is a member of the so-called "Gitmo 9" -- a group of lawyers who have represented terror suspects.
West, the assistant attorney general for the department's Civil Division, once represented "American Taliban" John Walker Lindh, a controversial move that West feared would derail his political ambitions and helped delay his nomination to the department for three months in 2009.
He helped negotiate a 20-year sentence for Lindh, an American citizen who was 21 years old when he was captured in Afghanistan in 2001. Under the deal, Lindh avoided a life sentence by pleading guilty to serving in the Taliban army and carrying weapons, and the government dropped its most serious charges, including conspiracy to kill Americans and engaging in terrorism.
Now West will lead the U.S. effort to block Arizona's immigration law from its July 29 implementation. The law makes it a crime to be in the state without immigration papers and requires police to determine whether suspects are in the country legally -- a provision that critics say will promote racial profiling and is unconstitutional.

Secret footage shows guns, columns of people, and drugs being smuggled into USA by organized groups. The federal government appears unwilling to stop the flow, although politicians all promise "reform". Unfortunately, it will take a huge disaster, such as a terrorist attack, to make our politicians finally act. But some patriotic citizens are hoping to prevent that from happening by displaying this footage to America.Secret footage shows guns, columns of people, and drugs being smuggled into USA by... more

These courageous Americans know what a bad situation illegal immigration has created. Sometimes, they speak out under death threats from the pro-illegal alien forces, and have been physically attacked by illegals. They are an example to ALL Americans, of ALL races that freedom isn't free. The federal government and greedy business interests have begun the Reconquista.

Wonder what that means for our security? Guess anyone can just come live here, settle in, and start infiltrating our country.
Please, see that this is a security threat. Not everyone comes to America with good intentions. Not everyone in the world loves America. Not everyone wants to see it thrive.
Think people. This is just as serious as signing a treaty with Russia saying "I'll throw away my gun if you do!"
Do you really believe Russia got rid of their gun?
People will always be people. Evil will always exist. We have to stop pretending that we can bring world peace. We still have to protect ourselves against powerful people, with lots of money, running powerful countries who are as greedy as Bernie Madoff yet would rather kill you and take your money, than waste time scamming you out of it.
Oh guess what, the guy with the gun wins..
p.s. Don't think ""terrorists"" (whom people blindly don't believe in) haven't figured how to use this little "loop hole" in our law.Wonder what that means for our security? Guess anyone can just come live here, settle... more

Robert Rodriguez’ upcoming Machete Director Robert Rodriguez’ new film ‘Machete‘ has created controversy after a promotional trailer released online makes provoking comments about Arizona– namely its new immigration laws– before depicting a machete-wielding vigilante who leads an uprising and massacre against Texas authorities. The filmmakers called it a ’special’ Cinco de Mayo message to Arizona, inviting viewers into a violent on-screen race war with red-saturated 70s exploitation violence and endless killing.

Hypocrite Calderon condemns ‘racial discrimination’
The Washington Post
By Jerry Seper
Mexican President Felipe Calderon denounced as “racial discrimination” an Arizona law giving state and local police the authority to arrest suspected illegal immigrants and vowed to use all means at his disposal to defend Mexican nationals against a law he called a “violation of human rights.”
