Lifestyle photography seems to be trending more towards fashion or commercial photography. As I look at my parents wedding pictures of the 70's and even more recently at my wedding pictures seven years ago, photographers seemed content with getting the standard portraits. Rudy Harris Photography located in Cincinnati, OH is a perfect example of the progressive attitude of the modern photographer.

Could it be another case of life imitating art or is it simply the evolution of photography? As you look at the portfolios of Gen Y photographers across the country, its evident that this isn't your typical family photo. These new wave of artists are infusing themselves into other peoples photos, therefore maybe the art is what is following suite.
