It should have been called 'Spider-Man: Turn Off Your Mind.' Not since Carrie the Musical in 1988 has a major stage production mesmerized more than just the Broadway community. The troubled life of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is a media sensation, one that is turning it into a major hit. And, all without the benefit of an opening night or reviews. That’s about to change as a leading media outlet breaks the rule of reviewing preview performances and its pen was definitely dipped in poison. Still, reasons exist as to why audiences are swinging into the Foxwoods Theater in New York in droves.

The signature graphic T-shirts have also gone through a transformation, scaling back the designs to reflect a more distressed finish with a vintage influence. The collection is relaxed, understated and features great-layered pieces. The updated look for Monarchy is presented in a dynamic fashion/music video look book featuring the stars of the upcoming Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Reeve Carney and his band.
MNRKY is one of the seven core brands at HMX that is being revitalized as part of the company-wide re-branding. “It was important that we took a non-traditional approach to how we re-launched the Monarchy Collection. Perhaps the riskiest venture in Broadway history, Marvel's long-awaited production of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" is finally nearing its opening night. The struggling mega-production (which reportedly sports a $50 million dollar price tag) was given a tasty preview on Good Morning America on September 10. Newcomer Reeve Carney, who will star as the fabled web-slinger, rocked out a version of “Boy Falls from the Sky” with his band, Carney, who will be part of the production's orchestra.
