This is a list of our favourite soundtracks of 2011. We are currently working on a list of the best original scores, which should be posted sometime before the end of the year. It hasn’t been the greatest year for movie soundtracks, but I can say that the top five have been spinning in my I-Phone for months. Let us know if you think we left out any soundtracks you would recommend. It is worthy mentioning that there stands a good chance the soundtrack to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo would make the list, but it sadly won’t be out soon enough, so perhaps we will include it on next year’s list instead. Movie poster artists are without a doubt some of the most vital yet overlooked contributors to cinematic history. Long before the invention of the television and the internet, filmmakers relied on movie posters to persuade audiences to watch their films. Ever since the late 19th century, posters (or then simple 8 x 10 inch lobby cards) enticed audiences to spend their hard earned dollars, and even today, a movie poster can go a long way in helping build excitement and anticipation for a film. Posters occupy a space between art and advertising and have a clear commercial purpose – to promote an event or product – but they also have artistic value and find clever and creative ways to include a sensational one line description of the films; these tag-lines acting much like a newspaper headline.
Over the years movie posters have found more value outside their initial purpose of promoting motion pictures. People now collect them and hang them on their walls and museums devote entire galleries to poster art. 2011, has been a good year for movie posters, and so we’ve decided to look back at tome o the best. Below are the 25 best movie posters released this year, analyzing each poster by evaluating both how well it fulfils its purpose, as well as its aesthetic value.

Al menos ocho funcionarios de la ciudad de Bell fueron arrestados hoy por la Procuraduría de Distrito del condado de Los Ángeles debido a sus salarios de escándalo y abusos en sus funciones.
El alcalde de Bell, Oscar Hernández, y el administrador, Robert Rizzo, este último quien percibió en 2010 un sueldo de unos 800 mil dólares y cerca de millón y medio de dólares en prestaciones, figuran entre los detenidos.
Tras un reportaje publicado en fecha reciente por el periódico Los Angeles Times, salieron a relucir los salarios 'estratosféricos' de los funcionarios, así como los abusos en su gestión en esta pequeña ciudad del sureste de Los Ángeles.
El procurador, Steve Colley, convocó para la tarde de este martes a una rueda de prensa en la que dará a conocer los pormenores de los arrestos y en la que presentarán los cargos por actos de corrupción y abuso cometidos por los funcionarios en su desempeño.
