The Winklevoss twins, the butch rowing classmates and former business partners of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, have ended their legal battle over whether the idea for the social networking site was stolen from them.
The identical twins legal spat with the king of geeks was immortalised in David Fincher's film "Social Network.
In January they attempted to reopen the case, claiming that they should have received more shares than the $45m they agreed on.
They sought to undo the settlement of $20m in cash and $45m in stock - now worth around than $150m as the estimated value of the privately-held Facebook has grown more than fourfold, from $15bn to $70bn since the initial settlement.
In April a US appeals court ruled that they could not back out of the deal.
The pair had threatened to go to US Supreme Court to overturn the decision but have now said they will not pursue it.
But for some reason I have the feeling this isn't the last time we'll hear the giant twins moan about only getting a huge chunk of money thrown at them. It must be so hard to be so rich.
