Judging by a webapp developed that follows batch tracking numbers put out by UPS on shipments of Cr-48s, only 10,000 of 60,000 have been shipped. We recently posted about a PCWorld article that talks about whether the act of jailbreaking is becoming a more acceptable practice with devices than in the past. Usually, jailbreaking is risky and can leave you with a "bricked" device, rendering it totally worthless. An Android developer has created an application that can somehow track UPS shipments with similar batch numbers. Basically, you can enter in your city and state to see whether there are shipments coming to your town.
