Hot dogs are great. So are cars. It only stands to reason, then, that a hot dog-shaped-car is totally awesome. That self-evident truth explains why Ben Hoffman traveled to Culver City, Calif., to buy a 3-inch replica of an Oscar Meyer Wienermobile in the newest installment of the Tony Award-winning "Craigslist Interviews."

Ben Hoffman brings back the wildly popular "Craigslist Interviews" by visiting a 13-year-old girl to buy a Garfield The Cat body massager. Yes, it sounds like the setup for an episode of "Dateline," but Ben's unparalleled people skills make the piece sweet rather than sordid. Who else but Ben can name-drop Sean Connery and Kevin Costner in one breath, then beautifully capture a young woman's passage into adulthood by letting go of her youthful totems in the next? Nobody, that's who.

Ben Hoffman buys a collector gas can (yes, a can designed to hold gasoline) on Craigslist, but that's almost beside the point. The beauty of "The Craigslist Interviews" is that the sellers' stories are more priceless than any collectible. This week's edition magically transforms into an elegiac ode to a beloved pet snake, Medusa, a royal python who passed away the day after filming at the age of 27. infoMania is proud to show Medusa's final hours. She'll be missed.

In the latest installment of "The Craigslist Interviews," Ben Hoffman visits the Pee Wee Discount Mart in the San Fernando Valley to buy a treasured possession that the proprietor had listed on Craigslist. You guessed it: A 1994 copy of "Players" magazine featuring an interview with Rick James. A mere $18.75 later, Ben walks out with the magazine, three porn DVDs, a pocketknife, a Ding Dong - and a new friend.
