Fight Back Against Corporate Influence in Elections
Organize in Your Town During the Congressional August Recess
I think we can all agree on one thing and that is...
In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a case called Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission that corporations have a “right” to spend unlimited money influencing elections.
Corporations are not people. Democracy is for people.
Until September 6, members of Congress are back in their home districts, meeting with constituents and holding town halls. Use the tools on right side of this page to urge your members of Congress to oppose corporate influence in elections.
Here, you’ll find resources for meeting with other concerned citizens near you, urging your members of Congress to support legislative remedies to corporate influence in elections, and passing local resolutions supporting a constitutional amendment to undo the heinous ruling in Citizens United.
