O!burger, located in West Hollywood, is the first burger joint in the Los Angeles area serving only 100% certified organic food. Everything from the buns, the sauce, vegetables, meat, ketchup, mustard, fries and salad dressing is organic. O!burger's intent is to be as eco-friendly as possible. Erin Altz is a Garden Educator at Trillium Charter School. She teaches her students the importance of gardening in an effort to reduce the carbon
footprint created by heavy transport while empowering kids to grow their own food. Even though an urban environment might be lacking in space
to grow this food she hasn't let that stop her.

"Rethinking Industrialism: The Plant" profiles a vertical farming project built in a repurposed factory in the historic meatpacking district of Chicago. Conceived by John Edel, The Plant aims to be the first fully functioning and self sustaining multi-floor urban farm. John is creating a realistic and scalable process that can be reused in other urban environments around the world. Built around a closed loop model, The Plant's main focuses are zero waste, sustainability, addressing food deserts, and creating employment opportunities.
