Kim Schmitz, also known as Kim Dotcom, recently arrested founder of recently indicted website MegaUpload, was apparently one heck of a Call of Duty player. Modern Warfare 3, is a fiercely competitive multiplayer game and Schmitz managed to rise to the top rank on the leaderboards for free for all on Xbox in it before his arrest. He posted a time-lapse video to celebrate and document that occasion, capturing his accumulation of 150,000 kills.
Regardless of the current suspect his actions with Megaupload are under, dude can shoot. That or he doesn’t sleep. That or he has a ridiculous amount of money and time, so if he decides he’s going to go be #1 on the leaderboards for the best selling game of all time with the largest multiplayer base of all time, he can. And he did. What’s even more amazing is that despite being arrested on Thursday, MEGARACER (Kim Dotcom’s gamertag) is still listed as #1, a rank he’ll surely lose if he ends up incarcerated for any extended period of time. If I were him, I’d be concerned that that I might have called a future inmate a on my quest to the top.

There was a lot of press about the Crysis 2 bit torrent, so it is no shock to us that it comes in as the over all number 1 most Pirated download. Pirated is a term used for when you access the game with out payment. The easier it is the more that do it. In the case of Wii and Xbox 360 there is hardware modification that make it much harder to do then a PC Pirated game. This is why Pirated games from Pc hold the top 5 spots on the Most Pirated Games of 2011. This is why game makers put software to try to track limit and reduce this from happening. almost four million copies of crysis 2 where taken with out payment. That is huge.

Robert Bowling talks about Modern Warfare 3′s banning process.
As we reported earlier, Infinity Ward is doing everything in its power to keep cheaters and boosters from ruining the game. Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist, Robert Bowling, reassures that boosters who turn recording off to fly under the radar can still be banned by the security team. Robert explains “[player] stats are always recorded, we can verify and detect cheating without video proof.” All players have to do is to “report them [cheaters and boosters] in game via the Report a Player option in the lobby when selecting their name.” After they abusers get reported, the security team behind MW3 can “issue the bans directly after verifying”. A few days ago, Robert issued a warning by saying “any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in MW3 will not be tolerated. 1600+ bans issued.” It turns out that those 1600 banned players were only on consoles, and the security team ”did a massive amount of PC specific bans shortly after that post. We’ll keeping banning.” Robert assures that the team behind Modern Warfare 3 “will stay vigilant”.

For those who are unaware, Clan Tag is a way to add four-letter combination before your name (e.g: [kill]NeoxBreed) which will be seen by other players when they view your screen name. Just like any game, this tag shows what clan you are with – something other players can brag – especially if your group is featured on CoD’s global charts. Likewise, adding icons on your Clan Tag puts more emphasis making it stand out between other tags.
As you can see from the clip, the steps needed to take starts when you enter “clan tag” under Callsign option. Then, if you want to add ‘A’ on your tag, you simply need to hit ‘ÁA’ keys and presto, once you press done you can see the A icon pre-pended on your tag. The History of Call Of Duty game series has been long hard and not with out blood shed. Call of Duty is a first-person and third-person shooter video game series franchise, created by Ben Chichoski. The series began on the PC, and later expanded to consoles and handhelds. Several spin-off games have also been released. The earlier games in the series are set primarily in World War II; starting with Modern Warfare, set in modern times, the series has shifted focus away from World War II. Modern Warfare was followed by Modern Warfare 2, set in modern times, and Black Ops, set during the Cold War. The Call of Duty games are published and owned by Activision and published for Apple OS X by Aspyr Media. Most have been developed primarily by Infinity Ward and Treyarch; some games have been developed by Gray Matter Interactive, Spark Unlimited, Pi Studios, Amaze Entertainment, Rebellion Developments, and n-Space. The games use a variety of engines, including the id Tech 3, the Treyarch NGL, and the IW 5.0. It has happened to the good people at cal of duty again, someone is trying to rip off there name and use it for the dark-side. The first time it was modernwarfare3.com which was sending users to battlefield.com? and bashing COD MW3 before playing it seeing videos or it even being done. They where hiding behind there domain name COD people got the peoples info then went after them in court and Activision won the case.
the legal team at Activision has a new case on their hands.modernwarfare4.com isn’t owned by Activision but the site takes slight digs at Activision by subtly promoting Battlefield 3. The whole site is just a FAQ page.
When you visit the site, you will find these remarks from the owner. They answered whether Activision is trying to “assault” the site with “Yes, but we counte[re]d it with a squad of Battlefield 3 soldiers. They soon ran. I think you are confusing reality and gaming again.” It’s worth noting that the guys behind the site claim that they’re not seeking ransom from Activision, or as they put it “No. Personally, we don’t care – and want no money. We took this domain for opportunistic giggles.” They even claim that if the mega publisher “were” able to buy the domain from them, they would “ask [Activision] for a donation to a charity of my choice. Probably Help for Heroes – you know, those guys that don’t get the ability to respawn when the timer hits zero…” They closed the statement by saying “Well, I’m buying Battlefield 3.. Fancy a game?”

If you’re someone who suffers from color blindness, or Color Vision Deficiency, Modern Warfare 3 may be the game that allows you to maintain the same competitive edge as other players.
Sledgehammer Games VP and COO Michael Condrey had this to say in a blog post:
“Research suggests that as much as 6% of the general population suffers from Color Blindness, or more accurately Color Vision Deficiency. Men (9-12%) are 20x more likely to be afflicted than women (0.25-1%). Those numbers vary depending on which source you quote, but we estimate that nearly a million gamers are playing Call of Duty every day with this issue. I am happy to report that we are working on a Color Blind Assist option for Modern Warfare 3.
So start honing your MP skills, Nick. You won’t be able blame your red-green deficiency for all that friendly-fire come November 8th.
