Hello people, we are in the middle of the weekend over here in India, and I'm going through mixed feelings about something really close to my heart. I think it has turned out the way I wanted, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed to hear your comments about the same. I invite you visit my new website.

While many households in the world struggle just to find and sustain adequate shelter and get enough to eat, the richest 2% of adults own more than half of the global wealth and the richest 1% own 40% of global assets. In contrast, the bottom half of the world’s adult population owns barely 1% of global wealth. Over 1 billion of the world’s population lives on less than $1 per day. Almost 2 billion gets by on less than $2 per day.

Every minute of the day a beautiful human being is born with a mind that has the ability to create miraculous works of art that literally alter the way we operate and function in the world forever. This unlimited potential of the mind is a gift. However, with like all power gifts when used incorrectly they can back fire and become a curse. One weapon in particular that can sap our personal growth and development is our ability to make generalizations about our mistakes.

I happened to watch an amazing video on YouTube and I must admit, I was in tears after i saw it...
Please see this video; you can see Narayanan Krishnan helping the mentally destitute, the homeless and elderly people with food, water and basic hygiene everyday in his home town in India. This man gave up his budding career as a Chef to help destitutes in his town, without any personal gain. What a selfless man!! I am truly inspired and humbled with the efforts of Narayanan Krishnan, who also features in the top 10 of CNN's HEROES list in 2010.

On a lazy Sunday afternoon, when I looked back on my life in retrospection, I asked a question to thy self- what is the most precious thing that I’ve in my whole life? Without any hesitation, my inner voice echoed with the most important word of my life- “Education”. Yes, I've no doubt whatsoever that “Education” is the most important and reliable thing that I've gained in my whole life.
Today in the world of materialistic emotions I feel, I just can’t even rely on money because it can also come to an end one day, but I know I’m well educated to make money and it’s my education, which has made me self dependent. Deep inside I know I will only walk with huge confidence in the so called human jungle because I’m well educated to handle every situation and I’m equally equipped to survive here. It is because of my education today that I'm so certain that I just can’t be simply lost in this crowded world and that I’m good enough to tackle everything with ease.
I'm sure Darwin was right, it is all about the survival of the fittest, but things have changed since the Darwin's time and it is no more just the survival against the climatic catastrophe or the predator-pray dynamics rather a new taxonomy of survival has evolved with new words such as- Money, Education, Success etc. Though, at first all such words seem to be different, but they are very interdependent just as Darwin's theory of evolution has emphasized on the phenomena of interdependence. Anyway, I'm not going to talk about science, but I've something more important than it to discuss at the moment.
