Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas doesn't speak much on the job, but during an interview last month at Duquesne Law School in Pittsburgh, Pa., he offered some candid insight into his thoughts about politics and President Barack Obama.
Asked if Obama's election as the first black president came as a surprise, Thomas said it didn't, claiming that he'd always believed a black person would become president one day. He went on to say, however, that Obama had only been elected because the president won over the elites and media, something Thomas argued most black people must do in order to advance.
"The thing that I always knew is that it would have to be a black president who was approved by the elites and the media, because anybody they didn’t agree with, they would take apart," Thomas said in a clip that surfaced on Friday. "You pick your person. Any black person who says something that is not the prescribed things that they expect from a black person will be picked apart."
Thomas's comments have since been picked up by a number of outlets and are being considered by some as a subtle jab at Obama. Adam Winkler, a professor at the University of California School of Law, told Mother Jones that the remarks were out of character for a sitting Supreme Court justice.
"Thomas seems more interested in becoming a Fox commentator than preserving the integrity of the Court," he said. "Justices should not take pot shots at the president. It's beneath the dignity of the court."
At the Duquesne Law School event, Thomas went on to explain that he had met Obama before, but had never spoken with the president at length. He also said that he wasn't really interested in politics.
"I just don't like politics," he said. "I'm just done ... I like history, I like things of substance; I don't understand politics."

Manufacturing mass social unrest would be a foolish mistake.
Despite the fact that the banking elite wants to generate riots and stir social disorder in order to collapse the U.S. economy so they can buy up real assets on the cheap, if such chaos was to spill over into a full blown civil war, the consequences for the technocrats would be disastrous.
In part one we explored why the elite routinely generate civil unrest in countries as a tactic of driving down confidence, scaring away investors and setting themselves up as the saviors in order to loot what’s left of the economy for next to nothing.
We also documented how authorities in America are clearly in a preparatory phase for mass civil unrest to break out within the next 5-10 years.
However, basic figures, along with the lessons of recent history, clearly suggest that should such disorder spiral into a new civil war, which many suggest is the very outcome federal agencies are gearing up for (the DHS alone has purchased enough bullets to wage a 30 year conflict), the result for the elite is inevitable failure.
It is imperative to stress that ordinary Americans do not want a civil war. This is not something we or anyone we associate with is actively calling to initiate. This is simply a warning to the power structure that their policies are setting the stage for this very outcome – and it’s not going to end well for them.
Al Sharpton recently suggested that Americans should accept government regulation of the Second Amendment because the primary reason the founders put the right to bear arms in the constitution – to defend against government tyranny – is no longer applicable. Sharpton brazenly implied that the government would just be able to drone strike all Americans who resisted being disarmed.
“First of all, if the government were to come to disarm you, you would not be able to use an automatic weapon to defend yourself. Let’s be serious. We’re in a world of drones now so the Second Amendment would not help you in that area. It is absurd to try to cite that,” said Sharpton.
In reality, even if a tiny minority of armed Americans chose to resist government oppression – the odds would be stacked hugely in their favor.
Consider the fact that there are almost 100 million gun owners in the United States, who in total own over 300 million firearms and rising.
There are only around 1.4 million active duty personnel in the entire US military – that includes the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Even if you include national guard reserves, the total figure is less than 2.3 million.
Even if just five per cent of American gun owners actively resisted in a civil war, that would be five million Americans – more than double the entire US military and national guard, many of whom are already engaged overseas. So even if the government used the military to fire upon U.S. citizens, the troops would be easily outnumbered.
Consider the recent story about the manhunt for former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner.
It took the vast resources and manpower of the Los Angeles Police Department and numerous other law enforcement bodies and federal agencies over a week to track down one guy - one guy!
As part of that manhunt, LAPD officers showed themselves to be bumbling incompetents – engaging in frenzied shootings of innocent people who looked nothing like Dorner and eventually having to burn Dorner alive inside a cabin in order to apprehend him.
If it takes the LAPD over a week to find and kill one guy, how much effort do you think would be required to disarm or kill 100 million American gun owners without meaningful resistance?
Consider the US occupation of Afghanistan that has now entered its 12th year.
A total of almost 500,000 coalition forces and Afghan National Security Forces have failed to defeat Taliban insurgents numbering just 25,000 – a ratio of 20 to 1 – in over 12 years of combat operations.
If the finest of the US military and their allies cannot defeat 25,000 ragtag insurgents in 12 years, how on earth are 100 million Americans going to be subdued?
Consider the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
17,000 troops working on the grounds of the Baghdad Airport couldn’t even secure the road leading to the airport months after the invasion.
If 17,000 troops can’t even control a single road, how does the government plan to successfully occupy an entire country in the event of martial law?
When a population is under occupation and they are being oppressed, the zeal for resistance knows no bounds.
Victory is achieved by refusing to submit – resistance is victory.
The banking elite which controls the US government – the same elite that has engineered riots in other countries – most recently Greece – as part of a process of turning those nations into empty vassals that can be easily looted for their wealth, infrastructure and resources, must realize that it cannot win a civil war in the United States.
Such an eventuality would result in massive bloodshed on both sides – and the elite simply doesn’t have the numbers to claim victory.
This is a warning to the technocrats – do not try to divide and conquer the American people, the police, and the military. Stop characterizing patriotic, freedom loving Americans as domestic terrorists. Do not try to initiate a civil war that would achieve nothing but carnage and a sustained breakdown of society.
As top constitutional scholars like Dr. Edwin Vieira and Lew Rockwell have noted, one of the reasons why the federal government is so petrified of the American people rising up to re-assert their God-given rights in the face of an establishment which is arming to the teeth against them, is the threat posed to their illegal power monopoly by the prospect of secession....

It all becomes very clear. These families have been milking us for centuries. We are quite literally their "cattle" i.e. goyim.
The whole of modern history can be explained by their farm management practices. Wars are started to increase the debt and cull the herd. The goal is to cull the herd to 500 million and chip the remnant. These families and their henchmen own 80% of the world's wealth and do nothing useful yet believe the impoverished majority are parasites.
Roussel, (left,) explains how compound interest resulted in astronomical exponential gains year-after-year. All religions have banned lending at interest to prevent what actually has occurred: this immense wealth and power has fallen into the hands of Satanists.
The world's major banks are mere proxies for these twelve families who create the money out of nothing. (The banks get their "money" from them.) Greece is the target now but eventually the whole world will be squeezed like an lemon to get this "money" back. ("We will absorb all the wealth of the world," is how Cecil Rhodes described it to his patron Nathan Rothschild.) They threaten depositors will lose their savings if banks fail. But, it is really these twelve families of generational Satanists who want their pound of flesh.
If our governments weren't run by their lackeys, they would protect the deposits and let the "oligarchic families" twist in the wind. Roussel doesn't name the families but obviously one is the Rothschilds.
Roussel explains that fractional reserve banking is a ponzi scheme. They lend $90 for every $100 on deposit. Those $90 are deposited somewhere else and $81 more dollars are lent. So it continues ad infinitum.Obviously, the way to fight this beast is to withdraw your cash from the bank.
THE NOVEL
Roussel's narrative revolves around a Rothschild who has a spiritual revelation and wants to issue a warning. He selects an attractive young Swiss journalist, Ann Standford, to write a book and deposits a fortune into her bank account.
He then takes her on a Cook's Tour of Illuminati landmarks — the Georgia Guidestones, a Bilderberg meeting, Bohemian Grove etc. — explaining some aspect of the conspiracy in each place.He describes its origins in paganism and the Kabbalah, which led to the Illuminist philosophy. But ultimately, it boils down to debt and interest.
"You want to defeat us?" Roussel's Rothschild says."Abolish loans with interest and don't create any more money. Economic cycles will disappear. Wealth will no longer be concentrated in the hands of a few "mega creditors" like me and money will gain value in time. What you bequeath to your children will have more value than when you first got it."
Meanwhile another Illuminati "superior" has put assassins on their trail. Roussel's storytelling is workman-like and his wholesome European Christian sensibility is uplifting.
The ending is quite unexpected and inspired. The book is worth reading for it alone. Roussel leaves us with a credible vision of defiance and hope. All we need do is affirm the Truth and resist evil. The whole rotten structure will collapse.

Jimmy Savile is considered to be a British TV icon who hosted popular shows like Jim’ll Fix It and Top of the Pops. His decades of presence in pop culture has led him to obtain an incredible amount of “elite” recognition such as Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Cross of Merit of the Order and Freeman of the Borough of Scarborough. He was also knighted by the Queen herself (God save her) “for charitable services” and obtained Papal knighthood from Jean-Paul II, making him a Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great.
But now, over a year after his death, the disgusting, ugly truth about this disgusting ugly character is being revealed by British newspapers: He sexually abused a great number of children and adults during his career, terrifying, manipulating and traumatizing them, while enjoying total immunity. Now that the cat’s out of the box, many startling allegations are surfacing: Savile apparently abused young girls in the backstage of his show Top of the Pops; one of his victims was a young as nine years old; he was given a room at a hospital for the criminally insane where he abused patients and his trips to children’s hospitals for charities were used as a chance to abuse sick children.
The worst fact about this story is that Savile’s “tendencies” were well known by the police and by the BBC (his employer, which is, by the way, funded by British taxpayers) for years but nothing was ever done to stop him. Quite to the contrary, while Savile was aggressively preying on children, the BBC covered up his crimes while the police took bribes and ignored him.
People used to call him “Sir” Jimmy Savile because the Queen knighted him. While those that honored him might now claim that they’re “shocked” to learn about Savile’s actions, I have a feeling that all of this information was known as he was part of a larger system practicing ritual abuse.
How can such a man enjoy so much immunity and protection? And why did he obtain all of these impressive “titles”? The answer is simple yet awful: He was part of the establishment. He had friends within the elite. He was part of its perverse entertainment industry that is filled with manipulative pedophiles such as himself. He was part of this clique that is above the law. Is it surprising that all of these allegation only surfaced y after his death? No, his “friends” protected him while he was alive and he has never suffered any consequences for his actions.
How many other Jimmy Saviles are there in the entertainment industry? Insiders will tell you that it is literally crawling with them. And it goes a lot further than abuse at the backstage of a show. It has been my contention for a very long time now, that the reason most people in positions of power do absolutely nothing for the good of their respective societies even in the face of total systemic collapse is not simply greed, corruption and stupidity. They are totally compromised.
As we see in this amazing article from the NY Times, former IMF head, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, lived a decadent lifestyle straight out of Stanley Kubrick’s final film Eyes Wide Shut (which was clearly a warning about the perversion rampant within the elite class). I am not judging his lifestyle so much as saying that when the most powerful leaders in the financial world are behaving like this they are incapable of ever doing the right thing because they are compromised and can be blackmailed into anything. I will allow these quotes from the article speak for themselves.

When you buy a house, you end up feeling like you will be paying it off until the world ends.
Well, how about one of these luxurious condos, which come with all the mod-cons, as well as a pool, a movie theater and a library - oh, and a guarantee that it will survive Doomsday if and when that fateful day comes.
For these luxury flats, deep below the Kansas prairie in the shaft of an abandoned missile silo, are meant to withstand everything from economic collapse and solar flares to terrorist attacks and pandemics.
Naturally, there will be no one around to phone if the guarantee fails - but at that point, the insurance will probably be the least of your worries.
So far, four buyers have thrown down a total of about $7million (£4.4m) for havens to flee to when disaster happens or the end is nigh. And developer Larry Hall has options to retro-fit three more Cold War-era silos when this one fills up.
Hall said: ’They worry about events ranging from solar flares, to economic collapse, to pandemics to terrorism to food shortages.’
These ’doomsday preppers’, as they are called, want a safe place and he will be there with them because Hall, 55, bought one of the condos for himself. He says his fear is that sun flares could wipe out the power grid and cause chaos.
He and his wife and son live in Denver and will use their condo mostly as a vacation home, he says, but if the grid goes, they will be ready.
Hall isn’t the first person to buy an abandoned nuclear missile silo and transform at least part of it into a shelter.
Built to withstand an atomic blast, even the most paranoid can find comfort inside concrete walls that are nine feet thick and stretch 174 feet (53 meters) underground.
Instead of simply setting up shop in the old living quarters provided for missile operators, Hall is building condos right up the missile shaft.
Seven of the 14 underground floors will be condo space selling for $2 million a floor or $1 million a half floor. Three and a half units have been sold, two contracts are pending and only two more full units are available, Hall said.
For now, metal stairs stretch down to connect each floor but an elevator will later replace them. The units are within a steel and concrete core inside the original thick concrete, which makes them better able to withstand earthquakes....
