    • I think its been amazing for RON PAUL on the GOP side--no one on that side has taken advantage of the new form so effectively--its really helped PAUL gain some notoriety--but the question is--has it been noted in the GOP base?

      Do Republicans use YouTube?

    • I remember reading somewhere that in the past few elections, the only area where web interest proved valuable was fundraising--there hasn't been much history candidates turning web support into voter turnout. The real key, I think, is increasing voter turnout in the younger demographic, who are generally the most web-savvy.

    • There seems to me two possibilities for understanding this phenomenon: one, that the candidates are not effectively translating Web interest into actual support, or that Web interest simply does not work. It would be interesting to understand what are the Internet habits of people who do actually vote are.
