Study: iPhone keypad less efficient than physical QWERTY keypads

A recent usability study found that average cell phone users are far more efficient using physical QWERTY keypads to type messages than they are when using the virtual keypad included with Apple Inc.'s new iPhone. (AppleInsider)

    • this was so obvious. i love my mac but apple is the symbolizes the triumph of visual design over functionality.

    • Yeah Baby - that is what i have been saying for a long time..... I have used many virtual keyboards and some are better than others but still nothing beats a really physical set of buttons that have tactile feel..... for an interesting one look at Pocketcm keyboard
