Wow. CNET was a revolutionary company at a time when the Internet was just a fledgling technology. To be totally frank, I'm amazed that the company has been able to undergo so many core business transformations over the years and survived. Television production company, tech news portal, and now parent company of a diverse range of online holdings.
You never know. They've come this far by doing several massive about faces in corporate strategy... could another be so far fetched?
