Adobe sets up their Photoshop online

As of today, internet users can now edit their photos, photoshop their friends or just pretend to be the next Salvador Dali online, thanks to Photoshop releasing their first online 'editing' suite.

The new site also integrates with a number of photo-sharing websites, enabling you to push and pull photos from Facebook, Photobucket and Picasa, but as of yet, not flickr.

And something photoshop amateurs, me included, will love - all editing is 'non destructive,' meaning you can always undo what you didn't mean to do.

Photoshop Express will be available to any internet hooked up compute, and if users sign up for an account, their work will kept in the internet's hidden safe until you next log-in, meaning you'll always never be more than a few clicks away from your masterpieces.

    • I was quite disappointed. It's basically a very dumbed down version of Photoshop with very little tools.
I know it's free, but if they are going to do it, they better do it all the way or not do it at all.

    • I love the look of the page and the first steps they're taking in making their nifty product accessible to more people.

For anyone who wants to do slightly more advancing image manipulation, GIMPshop is a downloadable open source program that's intended to replicate the feel of Adobe Photoshop. It's not a patch on Photoshop in my opinion but it's great for a freebie.
