To answer your question about burping, when we eat or drink, we also take air into our stomachs. Our stomachs already have air in them from the bacteria that produces gas caused by digestive enzymes. When there is too much air to fit into our stomachs, we have no choice but to let it out ~ resulting in a burp.=)
Carbonated drinks such as beer, soft drinks or champagne "yum" makes the recipient expel the carbon dioxide from the drink. The sound a burp makes comes from the vibration of the cardia within the stomach as the gas passes through it. If you live in the West, you know that burping is considered rude and impolite; But! In some countries like Bengal burping is considered to be a compliment to the person who cooked their food or provided their drink.

    • First of all, the first actual map of dark matter was created about a year ago. So how can it be number two? Whoever wrote this list must not realize that these things are still in research, and they are not just written off as 'unexplainable' questions of science.

    • It's not really that odd Imahan, science is everywhere and can explain everything but it is not an entity, science is just knowledge. At a point in time humans could not explain gravity, does that mean science could not explain it? No, it is not science that is limited it is human knowledge that is limited.

I understand what they are trying to say, I'm just being a stickler for correctness.

    • The article should have been called

"10 things humans are still too dumb to understand"

I am sure science has no troube explaining all of these things, the problem is noone knows the science yet.

    • Now, I don't buy this part:

"Furthermore, a woman’s likelihood of experiencing an orgasm appears to have no effect on her decision to take part in intercourse."
