DEATH OF THE INTERNET !!

Alex Jones addresses the real threat of the future corporate ownership of the internet. Among many negative results some outcomes are, this would mean not only costly membership for everything, but also that you would no longer have your own domain. Everything will be under a sub domain. Like with Myspace, everything will be regulated and heavily controlled.

I know there is a bit of info on current about this. But I think this issue is so important especially for groups like current.

We are talking about the internet as we know it dieing !!! No more free speech, no more abundance of knowledge and information, this is a huge disaster.

Please educate yourself and others on this. Lets not let this happen !!!!

    • No offense, but the internet is a product. Think of it as a two way newspaper. You still have to pay for that newspaper. When suppliers learn their product is selling like hotcakes, they make the product even better and raise the prices, simple economics.

      Each and every person will buy the new fiber optic connection, with easier tools and smarter interface.

      Remember, there is always the method we were given by the first amendment to the Constitution.

      Remember how crystal radios were the communication lifeline of opposition in the French Underground during the Nazi occupation of Europe during World War II.

    • The internet is so important for us to get to what is really going on.In fact it's the last truly free zone. We MUST fight for our freedom to exchange our thoughts, information and be free to express everything we want .PLEASE someone do something to save the freedom of cyber space !!!!

      I can't take the second guy seriously because I've seen a video where he rants about how he rapes people on the World of Warcraft with similar vigor. Maybe it would be good to take away his ability to cyber-rape.
