A fuel station producing enough hydrogen to run householders' homes and cars has been unveiled today.

The British invention, due to go on sale within two years, is roughly the size of a heating boiler and will cost under £2,000.

Its creators say it will revolutionise commuting, help homeowners slash energy bills, and give easy access to a fuel that does not produce carbon dioxide emissions, helping to combat climate change.

ITM Power also unveiled a Ford Focus that has been converted to run on hydrogen.

The hydrogen generator, which when it goes on sale will be small enough to fit in a garage or home, will use water and offpeak electricity to generate the gas.

It will be stored in a pressurised tank and can be used to provide power for a range of domestic or commercial purposes.

Why are the same tactics outlined by Mr. Paul in that interview being used by the Sierra Club and various states to hold the EPA accountable since it refused to enforce the clean air act? Let’s not forget that the Sierra club also filed a lawsuit against a big time coal plant for violations of the clean air act, which again is something Mr. Paul talked about in that very speech you so often use.

If you‘re honestly going to stalk Ron Paul supporters on the web that‘s fine (although kind of sad and crazy) but you gotta bring something of substance to the table. Do you really think the EPA is doing a good job? What do you think about Ford and their hydrogen powered car?

I personally think it’s sad that a huge company that receives billions in aid from the government can’t match the ingenuity of a couple lowly scientists.

    • Wow, go scientists. It’s to bad the auto industry is lagging so far behind. They really need to get their stuff together and give us a Hydrogen powered car that can do a little better than 100 miles per tank.
