    • In regards to our impact on the environment, we are supposed to be the better evolved species. Our me society has lost it's revere of tradition and honoring the old ways. Their is wisdom in that everyday knowledge learned through years of strive and turmoil by our ancestors. We should not repeat their past mistakes but constantly push our selves to be as self-sustaining as they had to be.

    • This is something that I can get behind.
I'm tired of living in a society where there's no longer time for technological standardization to take hold.
By the time a product is puchased, the next upgraded model is on the shelf in an attempt to get the consumer to discard a recent buy or to trade-up with additional expense.
The product's "ads" hit the tv screen with bells and whistles, promoting the latest advancements to suggest that the prospective customer would be a world-class fool not to have one to show off to peers.
"See? It's better because it has this new feature and I got it before you did! So there! N-yah!"
Lines of folks wrapped around blocks to have the newest of the new, only to discover that it's just another gadget from the land of, "Planned Obsolescence", a magical place where nothing is made to last more than a year or so.
      Enough already!
