As well as massive commercial applications, low cost DIY kits for screen printing solar cells are already on sale and can be Googled.
But inexpensive technology comes at a cost ... cheapness or durability, the consumer will decide.

The article did say that it's a little more complicated than throwing the nail polish and printer in the pizza oven, but it sounds like the overall process would be pretty simple.
I kind of want to find out how to do it and try it myself!

It would probably be the best thing ever if we could print solar panels then bake them in the oven.
I'm 99% positive that this ISN'T how it works, but hey ho, it would still be cool.
