Today the Prime Minister met with Francesco Caio, vice chairman of Lehman Brothers in Europe to discuss how the UK was going to modernise their internet infrastructure. The conclusion, that the private sector should foot the bill to cover the cost of laying fibre optic cables capable of 100mb/s.
"The case for a public intervention at this time is weak at best,” Mr Caio said. “There is little evidence in the short term the UK is going to suffer from the lack of an extensive next generation access network."
So that's one less thing the tax man has to worry about, our broadband subscription costs should be enough to cover the upgrade. My thoughts are this, laying cables is surely yesterdays news, instead of tearing up the country with cables, shouldn't we concentrate on getting faster wireless internet?

I'm not sure how Kim gets in on this? I found that very confusing.
I also think that the Lehman brothers bank should be concentrating internally at the moment.

kim jong controlling uks broadband...
should be the new headline!
japan has been way ahead of us for ages in the way of broadband, about time we in the uk pulled our finger out and advanced in technology a little bit more..
but its no good just improving broadband when i cant even get a signal on my mobile!!

How that picture got into this story I'll never know, but I like it so much I think I'll leave it. Kim Jong is menacingly impressed with our efforts, and for that I am grateful.
