If you've bought the game Trism on an iPhone, your £2.99 ($4.99) has helped one developer quit his job, £135K richer. Steve Dementer came up with the iPhone puzzle game Trism as a side project. After thousands of iPhone owners downloaded it, the money began to flow in and even after Apple took their 30% of total sales, he's still made a huge windfall.
Anyone else suddenly trying to think up simple yet infuriatingly addictive games in their head?

Mini games are big business, a good puzzle game will sell far more than a AAA title.

That is good news. May help to get up and coming developers on the map.
(Like myself, well maybe).

A great success story. I'm really happy for Steve. Trism is a great game and I've spent hours enjoying it.
