Even Bloglines founder Mark Fletcher Twittered yesterday, "Bloglines, please stop sucking. It's been a couple weeks now. I don't want to have to move to Google Reader. Sigh." The architect of the news aggregator is thinking aloud what most other users of the site have already done - switching to other RSS readers.

TechCrunch today reports on the lack of communication from the current owners - Ask.com - about what the problem is and when it might be remedied. TechCrunch's advice? "Click the "Export Subscriptions" link on the bottom left of the page on Bloglines when you are signed in, and then import it into any feed reader you choose. Problem solved."

Sounds like a plan.
