CALIFORNIA: NEW Scientists have discovered a more efficient way of building a synthetic genome that could one day enable them to create artificial life, according to a study.The method is already being used to help develop next generation biofuels and biochemicals in the labs of controversial celebrity US scientist Craig Venter.

i think its a great idea any thing that progresses our value of lifes is got to be beter for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with playing god i mean god did apprently make us in the shape of him so doesnt that make each and every one of use a god? as long as there carefull and no to arrogent and make a stupid and fatal mistake.

hopefully burning synthetic life for fuel dosent create somehting worse for the planet.. i think this is a great idea as long as the scientist dont try and play god.
