You wait though, in a couple of months someone will do a study on it and find that the holes in the print cause headaches, vision troubles, dizziness and can trigger fits.

We can change the background to black and the font to white.
Oh wait a minute.
LOL.

Very cool idea. If people really cared though, they'd just write in white.

But that takes up white ink. So it's not really saving anything, is it?

richjm:
If everyone agreed to write in white ink and printed on white paper, we'd soon realise the white ink didn't show up anyway so we might as well not use it and just go with the clean page. A while after that, people would realise they weren't getting much value out of sending and receiving blank pieces of paper as a communication means so they'd stop that entirely too.
So to recap, we'd now be saving ink *and* paper. Through small steps come ecological giant leaps, Abigael.

I really believe that intuitive and innovate ideas like this are going to have a huge impact on our environmental issues. Who needs to what for Congress to pass some sweeping radical bill when small things like this can have a huge impact. Great idea.

That's rad! Crazy how taking out teeny holes that we probably won't even be able to see on print outs will make such a big difference.
