Old Cell Phone? Recycle It!

      Yes, there appeared to be some real green steps taken by the company, except for the biggest ones: perceived and planned obsolescence.

      Their phones might be made of corn and biodegradable (or whatever), but they're still manufacturing an unnecessary number of pretty similar models, and then releasing new models constantly (and stopping support on the previous ones) to make people feel the need to upgrade to stay current and fashionable.

      Recycling and using green materials still take energy. Make durable, timeless phones, and then I might take manufacturers' green claims more seriously.

      Shame on Ms. de Pardo for her softball "report".

      I think everything will be recycled in the future
