Pen Concept Uses Optical Scanner to Let You Choose Ink Color

Now as an artist/designer/techgeek, this would be one of the coolest gizmos I've seen in a while. This pen, which is still at concept stage, has an built-in optical scanner that can detect any colour you wave in front of it, and three in chambers of primary colours so that the scanned colour could be mixed perfectly within.

Of course since this is at concept stage, there's no knowing whether the technologies required would currently fit into a usable pen, but imagine even a device that would mix paints in this way. would kinda be like the eyedropper tool in photoshop, but in real life and with real materials...
