India's $10 Laptop to be Revealed Feb. 3

(PhysOrg.com) -- On February 3, the Indian government will display a prototype of the Rs 500, a $10 laptop that will hopefully give more young people the opportunity to learn and help increase the country's school enrollment.

    • The west will never give up profits before people, America will always be the engine of need for foreign countries because their greed and want for the best of everything. America helps foreign countries more then it helps its’ own people. If they never outsourced all of their work we would not be in this financial crisis today. India should charge more for outsourcing to get more educational funds for their system and needs. They also need to learn to speak better english.

    • I was listening to a radio program some time ago and they mentioned India's plans to launch their own cheap laptop program to compete with other nations said programs.

    • They should mass produce it like a motherfucker and sell it across the globe. Finally a product from a nation that puts people before profit. The Western nations need to pick up for their ways.
