The Philips Cinema 21:9 And The Birth Of Ultra-Wide HDTV. Maybe.

We love HDTV not only because the picture is superior to the old fashion television sets but because of the wider 16:9 aspect ratio of the screen. Which is why one upcoming television has really caught our eye: The Philips Cinema 21:9.

    • Soon coming the Super-BD heheh. Just think about the download size of a 21:9 movie, crazy. Already HD movies are 8Gb's.

Sheesh, and I was just coming to the point where I could afford a HDTV... now I might as well wait till more modern SHD TV's come out..... meh, or maybe I'll just get a HD and then buy a SHD.

It's definitely a gamble. If it's at a decent price [which will still be an arm n a leg] I would definitely consider getting one. But I'd probably wait a year or two to let them work out the kinks.
