It is great that gaming is now getting the recognition it deserves but who would you pick to win the categories.

Below are my suggestions

Action and Adventure -Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

ORIGINAL SCORE - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

BEST GAME - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

CASUAL - Guitar Hero: World Tour

HANDHELD - God of War: Chains of the Olympus

MULTIPLAYER - Mario Kart Wii

GAMEPLAY - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

SPORTS - Wii Fit

STRATEGY - Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

    • Everyone is raising their game in the videogame land. The playing field is much more level these days. I still think that Grand Theft Auto will clean up at these awards though one last time.

      CASUAL - Guitar Hero: World Tour

      HANDHELD - Not really played any 'handheld' games - Do iPhone games count? If so Topple on the iPhone is way too addictive.

      GAMEPLAY - Little Big Planet

      SPORTS - Wii Fit
