'Tony Hawk' likely to feature board peripheral

Gone are the days of button-bashing computer games, what with the Guitar Hero/Rock Band revolution, the Wii up in full swing and now, the latest addition to the Tony hawk franchise is all set to include an actual skateboard shaped controller.

The concept of a new controller for the game is no new thing, it's been rumoured for months that something big was about to happen in the Tony Hawk world, but it's only recently that two sources have come to light, claiming that they've seen the new controller in action.

And what makes it that little bit better is that it's believed that it's not just going to be about how balanced you are on the board, but more about grabbing and manipulating the board to pull off tricks.
