Facebook's massive UK growth continues

Facebook's UK audience grew 107% in 2008 to a massive 17.6m users, according to new figures released by Nielsen Online.

The site's increased its lead over MySpace (seriously, who still uses MySpace?) and Bebo, which only grew an average of 6.5% each. MySpace's UK monthly audience is 5.4m and Bebo gets 4.3m.

It all begs the question: would you rather go without Facebook for a month or your mobile phone for two weeks?

    • Innit, an addict might have a social phobia.. on Facebook it’s easy for peeps with low self-esteem to socially reconstruct themselves.
