Recession leads to more cyber-scams

Paisano1
Cyber-scams have been a problem since the Internet’s conception. But with the economic recession, the number of scams is on the rise. • When someone with access to sensitive data that is worth money on the black market, and they are faced with losing their $300K+ job,in an industry that is self-destructing, hope can give way to self-preservation in the form of theft.

      No surprise there.

Who is responsible for all the hard drives, flash drives, lap tops, and hard data that is just getting junked?

Read that almost 70% of hard drives sold on Ebay still had private data on them - even after they were scrubbed.

We are shipping our E-waste to China en mass.

American expediency at the expense of commen sense again...

    • The number of desperate people is also on the rise. I bet people who wouldn't normally do this sort of stuff are signing up because they're hoping for any way out
