When someone with access to sensitive data that is worth money on the black market, and they are faced with losing their $300K+ job,in an industry that is self-destructing, hope can give way to self-preservation in the form of theft.
No surprise there.
Who is responsible for all the hard drives, flash drives, lap tops, and hard data that is just getting junked?
Read that almost 70% of hard drives sold on Ebay still had private data on them - even after they were scrubbed.
We are shipping our E-waste to China en mass.
