"Friendster is at once a thriving success and a robot-ruled ghost planet." Great Slate article on how Friendster has been "dead" in the US since, oh, somewhere in 2006, but is still uber-popular in Asia and attracts millions of unique visitors every month. Personally I don't think I've logged on since 2005.
