After the silly rumours from analysts last week that Sony were going to release a PS3 that didn't support Blu-Ray, Sony have stepped into the light dismissing those claims.
Sony marketing manager Kim Nguyen told Destructoid that to lose Blu-Ray would "...pretty much destroy the PS3's backbone, our games were built on Blu-ray...Quote that: Blu-ray will always be part of PS3."
So there you have it. PS3 will always have Blu-Ray, you silly, silly analysts.
