Motorola's 'Alexander' not so great, dropped

It seems Motorola's Alexander phone isn't all that great after all, they've reportedly dropped the upcoming model from their next product release.

Reports coming out of Asia have apparently confirmed that the Alexander, a high-end Windows Mobile OS phone with slidey outty QWERTY keypad and touchscreen display, will not be going on sale because the developers are having to wait for the next generation of Qualcomm chipsets, exactly the same problem that's held back the next gen of Palm Pre.

Not so Alexander the Great now are they?
