One individual can't keep up with the speed things are happening. What's it going to be like when things have expanded beyond anyones comprehension?

Everything was going good up until the end where a totally bogus number was shat out of their ass. Makes me wonder the reliability of their quality control on other statistics...

For sure the computers will be amazing, nanotechnology is quickly expanding now, research is progressing in quantum electronics. They're will be more advanced robots, eventually of human appearance, the so-called androids in SF stories, and then will it be a world like the Blade Runner movie or like the A.I. movie ?
HyperMegaPowerful computers and robots will be necessary to colonized the outerspace... and hopefully to depollute and correct the greenhouse effect. Us the humans will continue to do what we do best... be human in billions of ways - 3 years ago

All this information and they cannot suggest what to do with it. Like a computer with the computational ability of all of humankind that simply has no directive.
This is a very slick presentation that ignores the reality of our world: overpopulated, trashed to it's core with human refuse, and abused.
It is, in itself, a perfect analogy for our lives. Full of information that can't help us clean up our streets, minds, atmosphere, water....
The only thing that can do any of that is... you. - 3 years ago

It Means that it is time to get back to basics.
. This video sounds like a religious cult recruiting tool.
Unplug. Forget your blackberry, go outside. Have a Real conversation. Read a real paper book.
Technology has its place. Try to keep it in perspective. Somewhere between HAL2000 and Theodore Kaczynski there is a lesson.

Remixed again... but still leaves me in awe every time I see it. Change is afoot. Faster and faster. We can't stop it.
Look to your children and understand the world they're going to be living through.... it's not like yours. Help them figure out how to survive and thrive in it.
